NTS
The right context to the right decision-maker at the right moment.
The problem
Enterprises drown decision-makers in alerts while the signal that actually changes a decision arrives late, to the wrong person, or not at all. Notification volume has become a tax on attention rather than a service to it.
The vision
NTS treats routing as an intelligence problem, not a delivery problem. It understands who is deciding what, what context that decision needs, and the moment it becomes relevant, then routes accordingly. The goal is fewer notifications that matter more, so attention flows to judgment instead of triage.
NTS is the nervous system of the ecosystem. Context intelligence tells you what is true; NTS makes sure the right person learns the right part of it at the moment it matters.
Problem
Notification systems were designed to deliver, not to discriminate. So they deliver everything, and the people who most need to act are the ones most buried. The result is a paradox: more information, less awareness.
Notification volume has become a tax on attention rather than a service to it.
A signal that arrives to the wrong person, or to the right person too late, is functionally noise. Most routing systems cannot tell the difference because they do not model the decision at all.
Architecture
NTS routes against a model of decisions, not a list of recipients.
- A decision-context model captures who is responsible for which judgments and what context those judgments require.
- A relevance engine scores incoming signals against active decisions.
- A routing and timing layer decides not just where a signal goes, but when.
- A feedback loop learns from which signals were acted on, sharpening relevance over time.
NTS draws its understanding of decisions from the same context substrate the rest of the ecosystem shares, linking it tightly to the broader systems.
Where it’s going
The work right now is research-stage: framing notification as a routing-of-context problem rather than a delivery problem, and validating that framing against real decision streams.
The harder problem is the feedback loop - closing the gap between what was sent and what was useful. A routing system that never learns from outcomes will drift back toward noise. Read more on the surrounding architecture in the atlas.
