Privacy Policy

How this site collects, uses, and protects the limited personal information you share.

Last updated · May 2026

This site is a personal publishing platform for essays, frameworks, and ideas about enterprise AI. It is not a product, a store, or a service that requires an account. As a result, the amount of personal information collected is intentionally small, and this policy explains exactly what is gathered, why, and what control you have over it.

Information collected

The site collects personal data in only a few well-defined situations:

  • Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe, your email address is stored so issues can be delivered to you. Subscribing is always optional and double opt-in where supported.
  • Contact form submissions. When you reach out through the contact form, the details you provide (such as your name, email, and message) are collected so a reply can be sent.
  • Privacy-respecting analytics. Aggregate, anonymized usage data (such as page views and referrers) is collected to understand what content is useful. No cross-site tracking, advertising identifiers, or personal profiles are built.

How information is used

Collected information is used solely to operate and improve the site: to send the newsletter to subscribers, to respond to messages, and to understand which essays resonate. Your data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.

Third-party processors

A small set of trusted service providers help run the site. These may include an email and newsletter delivery provider, a hosting and content-delivery provider, and a privacy-friendly analytics provider. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service and under its own data-protection commitments.

Cookies

Cookie use is minimal and never used for advertising or cross-site tracking. For full detail on what is stored in your browser and how to control it, see the Cookie Policy.

Data retention

Newsletter data is retained while your subscription is active and removed after you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up. Analytics data is aggregated and retained in a form that does not identify individuals.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal data held about you, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data and the right to object to certain processing. These requests are honored regardless of your location.

Contact for privacy requests

To exercise any of these rights or to ask a question about this policy, email hello@mohitrane.com or use the contact form. Requests are reviewed and acted on within a reasonable timeframe.
